SFS Team makes it to a Critical Stage of 100&Change

Professor Irfan Nooruddin, from Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service, submitted a proposal to the MacArthur Foundation’s 100&Change program, which will provide $100 million to fund a single proposal that promises real and measurable progress in solving a critical problem of our time.  Dr. Nooruddin’s project will empower 60 million poor Indian farmers to regenerate their watersheds in order to make their communities more resilient to drought and climate change.

Congratulations to Prof. Nooruddin and his team, which includes Kelsey Harrison (SFS’18), Kyra Kocis (SFS’20), Rachel Mucha (SFS’19), and Tithi Patel (SFS’18).
