May 1, 2020

Jennifer Swift, a Professor at the Department of Chemistry received a $500,000 award from the National Science Foundation (NSF) for research starting in July 2020.

This award will further propel efforts in Professor Jennifer Swift’s lab to understand how molecular crystals take up and release water through a combination of experimental and data informatics studies. This research performed by a team of graduate and undergraduate students has direct implications for a wide range of materials in society including pharmaceuticals, foods, and electronic materials.
